2 cloves of garlic, peeled and smashed
1-2 tsp salt (to taste)
1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
1-2 tsp sugar (to taste)
2 Tbsp honey
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 cup extra virgin olive oil (if regular olive oil, then use half olive and half light vegetable oil)
1/2 cup cold water
2 tsp dried tarragon
1tsp dried oregano

Shake all ingredients well, remove garlic cloves before serving. This is best if it sits with garlic in mixture for a while, so great to make ahead.

This was the "always" salad dressing at our house.Recipe can easily be reduced by 1/2, but I always made extra. It got used up quickly.
