"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Personal Notes:
I usually make two different sides/kinds and multiple batches. The rolled logs freeze great and you can slice off a few at a time and bake after allowing them to thaw a bit in the cupcake pan. My favorite combo is both shredded and fresh mozzarella with pepperoni, basil, pineapple, and onion. Eric like Italian sausage with both kinds of mozzarella, onions, and peppers.
This recipe came about from his memories of "crusty's" from a pizza shop he and his friends used to frequent in college that he has never been able to find anywhere else.
