Crust:
3 cups flour
1 cup plus 3 tbsp Crisco
1 1/2 tsp salt ice water to mix

Pie:
Sliced apples to cover bottom of pan (about 5 medium granny smith apples)
2 cups sugar (divided)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup flour
1 stick of Oleo
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Place bottom crust in pan, slice enough apples to cover bottom of pan. Mix 1 cup of sugar, cinnamon, flour and sprinkle over apples. Place top crust on and make slits in the crust.

In sauce pan, bring to boil, 1 cup sugar, Oleo, vanilla, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 cups water. Pour over top crust.

Bake at 375 until brown.
