1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 or 2 Tablespoon brandy or sherry
1 14 oz. (approx) Brie wedge or round
Apple and pear slices
Seedless grapes
crackers or bread sticks

Directions:

500º preheated oven

Stir together sugar, nuts and liquor. Cover and chill up to one week.
To serve: Place Brie in oven proof dish, such as a 9" pie plate
Bake for 4 or 5 minutes until slightly softened. Sprinkle sugar mixture over top, then bake an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until sugar is melted and cheese is heated through, but NOT melted.
Brush fruit wedges with lemon juice to prevent turning brown. Serve with fruit and crackers.
