1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 c. raspberry jam

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Topping:
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Batter:Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Blend in flour. Press on the bottom and sides of a 9" springform pan. Spread with a thin layer of jam.

Filling: Combine cheese and sugar. Then add egg and vanilla. Pour this mixture over the jam.

Topping: Toss apples with cinnamon and sugar. Form an overlapping pattern over the filling. Sprinkle with almonds.

Bake at 450º for 10 minutes, and then 400º for 25 minutes.
