1 Bottle of Chardonnay
1 lb of bacon - cooked and crumbled
2 lb of jumbo mushroom
1 onion
1/2 bunch parsley
2 tbsp of minced garlic
2 cups of Italian breadcrumbs (add more if needed)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Open a bottle of Chardonnay and drink, keep it handy, it will be needed later in the recipe as well :)
2. Cook and crumble bacon - do not drain grease
3. Seperate mushroom stems from caps
4. Food process stems, set aside
5. Food process 1 onion, set aside
6. Food process parsley
7. When the bacon is done, add the finely minced stems and onion/parsley to the bacon and grease. Cook (or sweat) the mushrooms down.
8. Add wine (opptional) to the mixture and drink wine :)
9. Mixture should be dark tan in color and watery
10. Add Italian bread crumbs to bind the filling together

Stuff shrooms and drink more wine. This can be done the day before.

The day of the party, dot shrooms with butter, don't be skimpy on the butter, and bake in an oven at 350 till done.

This is a recipe I sent to Susan, (the wine part, of course is optional) The mushrooms are always a hit at the party, and we always have a good time making them and drinking the wine :)
