1/2 lb. ground beef 3/4 c. thin sliced green onions
1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 8 oz. cans tomato sauce 1 2 1/2 oz. can sliced olives

Ramona adds: Italian seasoning, basil, oregano, parsley to taste
2-3 minced garlic cloves diced green pepper
1 lg. can diced tomatoes I leave out the olives and use regular onions

Directions:
Brown meat and onions. Add next 5 ingredients. Cover and let simmer for 10 min. Add olives, let simmer 5 min.

Ramona: Brown meat & garlic, onions, peppers. Adds everything else and simmer for as long as possible. My grandmother would start the sauce after lunch everyday for dinner that night.
