15-20 medium cucumbers, sliced
3 cups sugar
3 cups white vinegar
1/3 cup canning salt
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp mustard seed
1 tsp tumeric
8 medium onions, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Slice cucumbers after scrubbing and cutting ends off. Slice onions and layer cucumber and onion slices in 2-3 gallon container.

Heat sugar, vinegar, salt and spices; cool. Pour over slices. Keep in airtight containers or jars in refrigerator. Stir occasionally to mix brine through pickles and onions. Keep indefinitely. Crisp, spicy and very good.
