1 chicken, cut up (about 3 lbs.)
1/3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 C. shortening or oil (Not olive)
1 pkg. dried chicken noodle soup mix
1 medium Vidalia onion, sliced thinly and separated into rings
1 C. evaporated milk
1 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a plastic food storage bag. Add chicken to coat well. In a 10-inch skillet, melt shortening or oil and brown chicken. Drain off sat and sprinkle soup mix and onions over chicken in skillet. Cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes or until chicken is done. If dish seems too dry, add more liquid. Serve over rice. Serves 4-6.
