1 cup Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Butter
2 tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
4-6 slices Texas Toast or 3/4 inch French Bread Slices
5 Eggs
1 1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Cinnamon
Powdered Sugar, Maple Syrup, Strawberries, Cherries, Blueberries, Pears, Peaches, etc.(optional)

Directions:
In a small sauce pan, combine brown sugar, butter and light corn syrup until butter is melted. Pour brown sugar mixture into a 13X9 baking pan. Arrange bread slices in a single layer on top of the sugar mixture. If necessary cut bread slices to fit pan. Set baking dish aside. In a medium bowl beat eggs, milk and cinnamon until combined. Pour mixture over bread slices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove cover and bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes or until the center appears set and top is lightly browned. Let the French toast stand about 10 minutes before serving. If desired, top with fruit and or powdered sugar and syrup.
