5 1/2 c. warm water
2 Tbs. yeast
1 Tbs. sugar
6 c. whole wheat flour
2 Tbs. salt
1 c. honey
2/3 c. vegetable oil
For later: white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water. Stir gently, let set until bubbly (about 5 minutes).

Next, mix the yeast mixture, whole wheat flour, salt, honey and oil, then add enough white flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 10 minutes. Divide into 4 loaves and let rise (cover and keep away from drafts) until double in bulk. Bake at 375ºF for 30-35 minutes. Remove from pans an place on wire rack to cool.

We used this recipe for a Relief Society ward meeting to teach the sisters how to make easy home made bread. Ann Pearson was there and was an amazing dough maker!
