Ingredients:
Box of cake mix (water, oil, eggs),
Can of coordinating frosting,
Candy melts,
Lollipops sticks,
Various sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake according to box directions. Allow to cool completely. Once cake has cooled, remove from pan and crumble into a large bowl. Use both hands and rub cake pieces together. Add about half a can of coordinating frosting(chocolate cake with chocolate frosting) to cake crumbs and mix together thoroughly until the texture of play doh. Using a truffle scoop make cake balls uniform size and roll into balls. (If you do not have a truffle scoop you can guesstimate using a teaspoon) Once all the cake balls have been formed refrigerate overnight (or at the least several hours). Melt chocolate melts using a mini crock pot with a bowl inserted like a double boiler without the water. (very important! DO NOT use any water near the chocolate. Water will ruin your chocolate!) Insert lollipop stick about 1/4" into the melts and insert about halfway into the cake ball. Once all cake balls have their lollipop stick return to the fridge for 15-20 min. Remove a half dozen pops at a time and carefully dip into the melts; gently shake off excess chocolate. Before chocolate dries sprinkle on desired sprinkles and allow to dry, cake ball up. (I use a 2X4 with holes drilled in every 1 1/2" apart) Enjoy your yummy creation!
