2 cup flour
3 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
combine all dry ingredients. Then cut in shortening and stir in milk. Turn onto floured board; knead two or three times. divide dough into 12 balls and roll each into circle of 6 inches diameter. Spread with soft butter. Sprinkle generously with sugar. Sprinkle with spices, 2 parts cinnamon to one part nutmeg. Roll up and place in casserole dish. Sprinkle with more sugar and spices. Pour milk over rolls until 1/2 inch above rolls. Bake at 250 degrees about 30 minutes. Then turn up oven to 350 degrees until brown.
