2 cups sugar
1/4 cup water
3/4 dark Karo Syrup
1 cup raw red spanish peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, sugar, and Karo syrup to boil. Add peanuts. Cook until peanuts start cracking and foam appears. Take off heat, put in 4 tsp. baking soda, will foam up. Pour into greased jelly roll pan.
Spread out and let cool.

This is old fashioned peanut brittle. My great mother-in-love, Mozelle used to make it every Christmas, she gave me the recipe.
