2 lbs stew meat
Flour with seasoning salt and pepper added
2 tbsp oil (maybe more)
4 cups water
3-4 tbsp worchestire sauce
1 tbsp minced dried onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 bay leaf
2 tbsp sugar
dust of paprika
3 or 4 medium potatoes, chopped or 2 cans of new potatoes.
Couple handfuls of baby carrots.

Turn electric skillet on to about 400º. Put flour with seasonings in a bag. Add stew meat and shake it to coat. Put oil in skillet and add stew meat. Cook stew meat, turning so that it browns on all sides. Add water, worchestire sauce, onion, garlic, bay leaf, paprika and sugar. Turn to low. Cook, stirring for 1 & 1/2 hours or until tender. Add more water as needed. Add carrots and potatoes after the first 1/2 hour of cooking. If using canned potatoes, wait until stew is done and put them for about 15 minutes to heat them through.
