1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg {small} strawberry jello
3/4 cup oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
1/2 cup fresh or thawed strawberries

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl.mix with mixer. bake at 350 for 35 min. while still warm, spread with glaze.

GLAZE : mix,
1 cup strawberries
1/2 stick oleo.
1/2 box powdered sugar.
Poke holes in cake and spread with glaze.

If you use fresh strawberries you need to either mash them or cut them up so they wont be in big chunks. I always just made half of the glaze because I dont like a lot of icing but if you like a lot you can make the whole batch. Also, I dont know how much 1/2 box of sugar is so I just made it with the 1/4 stick oleo and 1/2 cup strawberries then use the amount of pdr sugar to make it the consistency I want. Have the berries and oleo at room temp and sift the sugar and it is easier to make.

**Variations – Lemon cake mix instead of White with lemon Jello, Glaze – ¼ or ½ Cup Lemon juice and enough powdered sugar to sweeten it.
