12 oz. chocolate bits
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
2 tbsp. sugar
1 angel food cake
1 pint heavy cream, whipped almost to stiff peaks

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate bits. Beat egg yolks well and gradually add melted chocolate bits. Beat egg whites very stiff and gradually add sugar while beating. Fold chocolate mixture into egg whites; then add whipped cream. Using bowl in which you plan to serve the dessert, tear up angel food cake into medium-sized chunks and spread layer in bottom of bowl. Cover layer of cake with part of chocolate mixture. Continue with layers until bowl is full, ending with chocolate mixture. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours.
