16 oz. sauerkraut
1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
4 (1-inch thick) pork chops
1/2 tsp. dried sage
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a medium baking dish. Rinse sauerkraut; drain. Combine sauerkraut, applesauce and brown sugar in a medium bowl mix well. Spread into prepared baking dish. Rub pork chops with sage. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork. Cook, turning once, until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Arrange pork over sauerkraut mixture. Pour lemon juice and water over pork. Bake, covered, until pork is tender, about 30 minutes.
