3 packages yeast
1 cup very warm water
3/4 cup sugar
8-9 cups milk (bring to scalding)
1 stick butter
3 tbsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
combine first three ingredients, let rise. Put milk in a very large pan and add butter, sugar and salt (mix well) then add 3-4 cups cold water. Add 1/2 sack flour, mix well. Add fermented yeast mixture. Add enough flour to be able to knead. will take app 2 - 2 1/2 bags of flour. knead well for at least 15 minutes. Take dough and put on lightly floured surface/split dough in half and put into well greased pans. let rise. punch down and let rise again. make into loaves or rolls. put into well greased pans. let rise until double. bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then turn down to 350 degrees. finish baking for about 35 - 40 minutes.
