2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Butter - size of walnut
1/2 c. hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing
4 T. butter
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 T. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Beat eggs, add sugar. Melt butter in hot milk, then add to dry ingredients. Add vanilla.
Bake in 9 inch pan until done (Don't know how long- until firm to touch - maybe 25 minutes).

Icing
Bring butter, sugar and milk to boil. Add coconut and pour on warm cake. Place under broiler for about 2 m minutes to brown.

This is a very old recipe. Mary Waishwell won 1st prize at the Bradford County Fair in PA with this recipe when she was in high school.
