10-12 slices of bread, buttered and sliced; place in pan.
1 quart of milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Fruit cocktail or raisins

Directions:
Mix together milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Pour over bread. Add raisins or fruit cocktail, bake until set at 350ºF 45 minutes to 1 hour.
