1 quart milk
4 to 6 eggs separated
1 teaspoon vanilla
6-8 Tablespoons sugar
Bourbon or rum
dash of mace
1 pint of heavy cream
1 tablespoon of confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites and add a little sugar (1 to 2 tablespoons).
Beat egg yolks until thick and add sugar about 4 to 6 tablespoons. Add milk, Vanilla. Then add egg whites to milk mixture. Make whip cream from the heavy cream adding confectioners sugar to taste. Fold into eggnog; top with mace. Add Bourbon or Rum if desired.
