1 Pie Crust - store bought frozen or refrigerated are great.
5 Eggs
2 cups Heavy Cream
1 1/2 cups Ham (chopped)
1 1/2 cups Asparagus or Broccoli (chopped)
Salt and Pepper
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Place crust into pie plate or use aluminum plate the crust comes in (follow instructions provided for store bought frozen or refrigerated crust)

Whisk eggs and heavy cream together. Add in a pinch of salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour into pie plate. Layer in ham and asparagus (or broccoli).

Bake at 400º for 20 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 375º and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted into center of quiche comes out clean and quiche is golden brown.

Remove from oven and allow to sit for 10 minutes to set prior to serving.

Serve warm.

Can be reheated.

This recipe can be made as is or you can substitute bacon for the ham and also use any vegetables that you prefer. In fact you decide how chock full or not you want the quiche to be with the ingredients.
For Quiche Lorraine use 1-1 1/2 cup chopped bacon and 1 cup Gruyere or Swiss Cheese finely grated.
