1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup cooked pumpkin canned or fresh
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup raisins, nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together the sugar and margarine.

2. Add the pumpkin and blend again until well mixed.

3. Add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract. Combine well.

4. Mix in the nuts, raisins or chocolate chips if desired.

5. Drop by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet; and bake in a 375º oven for 8-10minutes.
