1 lb grated sharp cheddar cheese (4 c)
1 small onion, finely minced
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 c pecans, chopped
1 c mayonnaise
dash Tabasco
1 jar raspberry preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together first 6 ingredients.
Coat rubber (flexible) 2 cup bowl or mold with mayonnaise.
Spoon mixture into bowl, pressing in firmly.
Let chill 24 hrs. Turn over onto plate and cover with raspberry preserves. Serve with plain melba rounds or pecan thins.

Mixture can be split between 2 smaller bowls or recipe can be cut in half.
