1 cup dry elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon grated onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups grated American cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare macaroni according to package instructions and drain thoroughly. Melt butter and add flour, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Add milk. Cook until thick and smooth. Add onion and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle mustard, salt, and pepper over sauce. Stir until blended. Add cooked macaroni and 1 1/2 cups of grated American cheese. Mix well. Pour into a 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup over the top. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with 1/2 cup of dried bread crumbs. Sprinkle over the top. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes.
