1 cup premium cocoa powder, sifted
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup plus 5 tbs. heavy cream
1/2 cup chopped semi-sweet chocolate
Pound cake, fruit (strawberries, bananas, apples, etc.) cut in bite size pieces

Directions:
Sift cocoa and set aside. Place water, sugar, and corn syrup into a pot and boil. Allow to simmer for 10-15 minutes until it has reduced about 30%. Pour cocoa powder into the solution , blended and whisking until smooth. Over medium heat, add heavy cream to the chocolate mixture. Bring to boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Serve with pound cake and fruits.
