5 lb. pork roast
1 qt. sauerkraut
3 cloves of garlic
2 c. chicken broth
1 large onion
6 potatoes
4 carrots

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork roast in oil in large Dutch oven on stove. Make 3 slits in roast, insert garlic cloves. Salt and pepper roast. Cover and put into oven at 325º for 1 hour.

Remove, add 2 cups chicken broth. Add drained sauerkraut. Bake another 1 1/2 hours.

1/2 hour before finished, remove and add onion, potatoes and carrots.

Make gravy with juices in bottom of Dutch oven.
