Baked Stuffed French Toast Recipe

20-24 slices raisin bread
6 eggs
2 c. half and half
2 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
dash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg

Filling:
16 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange slices in greased 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle bread with cinnamon and spread filling over bread. Layer with remaining bread and cinnamon. Pour egg mixture over top and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350ºF covered for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer.

Let stand 5-10 minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with syrup.
