6-8 chicken drumsticks
1/2 C. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
4 medium onions
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tsp. black pepper
4 Tbsp. white wine
Some cream or half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice onions. Put in a buttered casserole dish. Arrange chicken over onions. Mix the garlic, spices, wine and butter in a sauce pan; bring to a boil. Pour over chicken and marinate for 1 hour. Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 30 to 35 minutes, turning occasionally. When done, remove the chicken from the casserole; keep warm. Thicken the sauce with cream and add lemon juice. Add chicken to the sauce and serve hot. Serves 4.
