1- 26 oz. bag frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
2 c. shredded Colby cheese (do not use cheddar,
not same taste)
1/4 c. minced onion
1 c. milk
1/2 c. beef broth
3 Tbsp. butter melted
dash of garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Combine hash browns, cheese, and onions in a large bowl. Combine milk, broth, half melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl. Mix well then pour mixture over hashbrown mixture and mix well. Heat remaining butter in a large oven proof skillet over high heat. When skillet is hot, spoon in hashbrown mixture. Cook mixture, stirring occasionally until hot and cheese is melted--about 7 minutes. Put skillet into oven and bake 45-60 minutes until surface of hashbrowns are starting to brown.
