1 loaf French bread, cut into 1" slices
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1 T. white corn syrup
5 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine brown sugar, softened butter and corn syrup.
2. Press into the bottom of a greased 9X13 baking dish.
3. Place French bread slices on top of the brown sugar mixture, press down into mixture.
4. Beat eggs with milk and vanilla.
5. Pour over bread.
6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
7. Bake at 350º for 20 to 30 minutes until it's light golden brown. (If not brown enough, run briefly under broiler)
