1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted flour
1 egg
Prunes - canned
Cheese - preferred kind grated
Browned butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt. Add egg and enough water to make a medium soft dough. Knead on a floured board until smooth. Cover dough and let stand for 10 minutes. Roll thin on a floured board and cut into 2 - 3" circles. Fill half with prunes or cheese and seal edges. Drop a few at a time into boiling water and cook for 15-20 minutes. Drain. Serve with browned butter poured over all.
