1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk (dissolve 1 tsp. each of baking powder & soda in milk)
2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all as for cake. Add 1 cup boiling water to mixture before putting in oven. Bake at 375º until done. This has a wonderful texture.
