6 C all-purpose flour
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 package active dry yeast
1/4 C warm water
1 C (2 sticks) butter, melted and cooled to 115 degrees
2 C buttermilk

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450º.
In a medium bowl, stir or whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.; set aside. Sprinkle yeast over water, and allow to stand until creamy looking, about 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl combine 1 cup of flour mixture, yeast mixture, melted butter, and 1 cup buttermilk. Stir to combine. Add the remaining flour and buttermilk alternately, stirring between additions. When a sticky dough forms, cover it with plastic wrap, and place in a refrigerator for 2 hours.
Remove dough from refrigerator and turn out onto lightly floured work surface. Knead a few times.
Cut dough using biscuit cutter
Bake until done about 15 minutes
