1 hen or fryer, boiled and deboned (salt and pepper to taste while cooking)
1/2 stick oleo
1 egg, beaten
Self-rising flour in large bowl, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Take 3/4 cup broth out of broiler for dough. Add oleo to broth left in boiler. Press a "hole" in center of flour mound with fist. Pour the 3/4 cup broth and egg into flour "hole." Make up like biscuit dough. Roll out onto floured board. Cut into pieces and drop into boiling broth. Return deboned chicken to broth. Cover. Turn down heat to low. Simmer 5 minutes or till dough is done.
