3/4 c. unsalted butter,room temp.
3/4 c. sugar
2 lg.egg yolks
1/2 t.pure vanilla extract
1/4 t. sea salt
2 c. flour
1 c. powdered sugar
2 T. fresh lemon juice
1 t. grated lemon zest

Directions:
Directions:
With mixer,beat butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks,vanilla,salt,& beat to combine.Gradually add flour,mixing just until incorporated.Divide dough in half and shape into 1 1/4 in. logs.Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. Heat oven to 350º, slice logs into 3/8 in.slices and space them 1 1/2 inches apart on parchment lined baking sheets. Bake until lightly golden,16-20 minutes. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes,then transfer to cooling racks. In small bowl,whisk together the powdered sugar,lemon juice& jest until it forms a thick but pourable glaze(add more lemon juice if necessary). Dip the top of each cookie into the glaze and let set,about 15 mins.
