1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. ground ginger
1/8 t. onion powder
salt to taste
12 chicken thighs, skinned or similar amount of chicken
1/2 c. chopped cashews

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, ginger, onion powder and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Add chicken and simmer over low heat, uncovered, for 45 - 60 minutes. (For a deeper flavor, marinate chicken in sauce for up to 4 hours before proceeding with cooking instructions). Transfer chicken to serving platter and sprinkle with chopped cashews.
