1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
Frosting:
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. cocoa
1/4 c. (scant) hot water
3 c. powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir together dry ingredients before adding to sugar mixture. Drop on preheated waffle iron (medium high). Bake about one minute, checking often.
Combine frosting ingredients and mix well. Frost.
