3 oz. wild rice
1/2 lb. diced bacon
2-3 stalks celery, diced
2 cans mushroom soup
1 1/2 cans milk
1/8 t. beau monde
1 t. salt
1 onion, diced
dash pepper
1 can chicken broth
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1 3/4 c. water to boil, add rice and salt. Cover tightly and cook over low heat until tender (about 35-45 minutes). Fry bacon until crisp. Saute onions, celery and mushrooms in bacon fat. Combine soup broth, milk, mushrooms, onions, celery and seasonings with the cooked rice. Simmer for 20 minutes.
