1 clove garlic, chopped,
1/2 C chopped onion,
1/2 C chopped celery,
1/2 c chopped green pepper
3 T olive oil
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes,
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce,
1 1/2 tsp salt,
1 tsp sugar,
1 T Worcestershire sauce,
1/2 to 1 tsp chili powder,
dash hot pepper sauce,
2 T cornstarch,
1 lb. shrimp, shelled,cooked, thawed,

Directions:
In a skillet, saute' garlic, onion, celery, green pepper in olive oil until tender. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, salt,sugar and spices. Simmer 45 minutes. Mix cornstarch with 1 T of water and stir into the sauce. Cook until thick. Add shrimp, simmer for 5 minutes or until shrimp are heated through. Serve over rice.
