8 slices bacon,fried and crumbled (I use Applewood Smoked)
1 c onion,chopped
4 c potatoes,cooked and cubed
1 c. water
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 -1 c.shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until crisp and crumble.Set aside. Saute onion after bacon drippings are removed from pan.Remove onions and drain on paper towel. Cube potatoes and cook in the 1 c. water. Add cream of chicken soup,onions,sour cream,milk,and seasonings.Add bacon.(Reserve some for garnish). Simmer but DO NOT BOIL. Add shredded cheese.Garnish with shredded cheese and bacon.
