Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I remember playing with cousins on Uncle Pete's bear skin in the front parlor of the big house on main street in Deckerville.
I remember gathering eggs with my mom at the home place on Stone Rd.
I remember painting the tool shed with cousins at Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Winston's farm. I had more paint on me than on the shed.
I remember noodles drying all neatly folded on the backs of the kitchen chairs after the dough had been stretched nearly to the floor over the kitchen table.
I remember Beverly and I playing canning outside while our mother's truly canned in the kitchen. We used old jars, windfalls from the orchard next to the pig pen, and water from the hose.
I remember looking for the cookie jar in Gramma Bungart's cupboard. You know, the big sugar cookies with the raisin in the center?
