Pastry for 2 crust pie
6 cups apples
1/2 pt. fresh raspberries
1 cup sugar (1/2 white and 1/2 brown)
2 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Line deep dish pie pan with bottom crust. Combine ingredients in bowl, except butter. Pour into pie crust. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Bake 40 to 50 minutes until apples are tender and crust is brown.

I like to put in microwave for 5 minutes before baking in oven and reduce cooking time to approximately 30 minutes.
