2 1/2 lb beef (chuck or round)
6 large onions (2 lbs-- peel, slice, and quickly rinse)
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp caraway seed
1 can peeled tomatoes
3 beef bouillon cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onions thinly; lay in pot first. Add beef pieces (uncooked), salt, and spices. Top with tomatoes and add bouillon cubes. Put lid on and simmer for 2 1/2 hours. Stir with a wooden spoon occasionally. If it's too thin, it may be thickened with corn starch. Serve over rice or egg noodles.
