2 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored, and wedged into 8 pieces each (total 16 wedges)
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
2 sticks butter, melted
11/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. (or more) cinnamon
1 12 oz can Mountain Dew (can use diet)

Directions:

Melt butter. Add cinnamon and sugar; stir. Separate dough into 16 triangles. Place 1 apple wedge at largest end, roll, place in 9x12 pan. Cover with butter/sugar mixture. Pour soda around edge of pan. Be careful not to pour over rolls. Bake at 350ºF for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown.
