1 small pkg raspberry or strawberry Jello
1 cup hot water
3/4 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 can cold evaporated milk
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
graham cracker crumbs
whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve Jello in hot water and allow it to thicken a little then whip and add sugar and a pinch of salt. Whip cold milk and cream of tartar, combine with Jello, grease a pan and line with graham cracker crumbs. Pour in Jello mixture and sprinkle top with crumbs. Serve plain or with whipped cream.

This was grandmother Beatrice's recipe. This was included in a Mother's Day cookbook Dorothy made in the 5th grade. Dorothy's kids loved this recipe, especially Curt.
