2 lbs ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 large can of diced tomatoes
1/2 cup canned, sliced jalapeno peppers
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup pimento stuffed olives, sliced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
salt
pepper
1 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain. Add all other ingredients except almonds. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

Toast almonds lightly until golden brown. Sprinkle over the top of Picadillo and serve with tortilla chips.
