1/2 C sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

3 C all-purpose flour
2 C sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Line the bottom of a buttered 12-by 2-inch round cake pan with a round of wax paper, butter the paper, and dust the pan with flour, knocking out the excess.

Make the filling: In a bowl cream together the cream cheese and the sugar, add the eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla, the flour and the chocolate chips.

Make the batter: In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In a bowl combine the vinegar, oil and 2 cups water. Stir the vinegar mixture into the flour mixture until the batter is just combined and pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Spoon the cream cheese filling onto the batter by dollaps, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge of the pan, and swirl it into the batter with a knife. Bake in the middle of the oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until it pulls away from the side of the pan and the center is just set. Let the cake cool in the pan on a rack and turn it out onto a platter. Remove the wax paper and let the cake cool completely.

Make the glaze: In a metal bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water combine the chocolates, the butter and the cream and cook the mixture, stirring, until the chocolates are just melted and the mixture is smooth.

Pour the glaze onto the cake and with a spatula spread it evening over the top and side.

Chill the cake for at least 2 hours or overnight.
