1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
Peel from 2 oranges cut into 1/2 inch wide strips
3 c. fresh orange juice
1 1/2 c. vodka

Directions:
Directions:
In a 2 quart heavy saucepan melt sugar over low heat, about 5 minutes until melted and amber colored. Remove from heat. Slowly pour in corn syrup, stirring until blended. Add orange peel and juice. Bring to a boil, cover and summer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool, add vodka. Pour into tightly covered sterilized containers. Store 2 weeks at room temperature. Pour into glass containers discarding peel. Refrigerate. Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
